UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT (November 2009)
Ron & Andrea Camier are delighted to announce the arrival of Geoff & Tasha Heyblom as new Resident Managers of the Mountain Rivers Lodge property.
As Geoff explains, "Tasha and I have for many years entertained the idea of being involved in something just like this opportunity at Mountain Rivers Lodge. We have always enjoyed having guests and have gravitated towards opportunities where we can use our
gifts and talents accommodating the needs of others.
Both Tasha and I were responsible for quite some time in Hospitality at YWAM Melbourne and also Base Management including administration and accommodation of 'in-house' training schools. Aside from our involvement with YWAM, we have worked in a variety of roles, particularly in 'customer service' type work  where team work was a major factor. We have a young family (8,6 & 4) who we believe would thrive in an environment such as Mountain Rivers Lodge."
Previous Resident Managers, David & Sarah Bush, are returning to Drouin. They have done a fantastic job bringing the operation of the Lodge up to the standard required for Australian Tourism Accreditation. At the same time they have developed their Phoenix Paintball business into one of the best in Australia. This exciting business now has 10 fields which will continue operation on part of the Mountain Rivers property. As Sarah says of their time at Rawson "
We have learned so much and met many wonderful people. We are thrilled with Geoff and Tasha coming to MRL, and we will still be seen around, having an active involvement with the tourism industry. The children will benefit by not spending so much time getting to and from school!"
Marcus Hiam will continue assisting with maintenance of both the Mountain Rivers and Phoenix Paintball facilities. Also Marcus and Geoff will be part of the Mountain-Top Experience team providing the ever-popular 4WD adventure tours of Walhalla's Ghost Towns, Mines and Mountains.

NEW SPA CHALETS (Under construction 2010)
Tourist accommodation facilities at Mountain Rivers Lodge, Rawson are being expanded by the addition of another motel-style unit at the Lodge, together with two new self-contained chalets.
The spectacular 'Mountain-Top Spa Chalets', currently under construction on the property, will feature a wall of windows overlooking Happy Jacks Creek valley, access to the upper storey via a bridge from the car-park, a cosy loft bedroom, and a luxurious spa bath having mountain-top views!
