Self Cater Accommodation for Walhalla

Mountain Rivers Lodge is situated at Rawson set on 19 hectares of gardens and farm land, surrounded by state forest. The views friom the Lodge over Happy Jacks Creek are just stunning.

It is a comfortable 2 hours' drive from Melbourne, and only 15 minutes' drive from the historic goldfields town of Walhalla.

Its locality makes Mountain Rivers Lodge ideal for many recreational activities and small group or extended family functions. The Lodge is suitable for a quiet getaway, bushwalking, photography, snow skiing, fishing, four wheel driving, canoeing, family reunions, weddings, small corporate functions or just want to explore the many historic sites in the area. Also we can now offer structured team building activities through Adventure Learning Experience, and adrenalin sports with Phoenix Paintball.

We also have facilities for those of you who wish to bring their own horses to explore this magnificent region. There are many bush tracks and old tramways suitable for horse riding.

Mountain Rivers Lodge has full self cater facilities, however catering for groups and functions can be arranged.

The accommodation consists of six motel style rooms, all with ensuite. The facility has a central, self-cater, fully equipped kitchen. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided. There is a large lounge and dining area adjoining the kitchen which is equipped with television and stereo.

Four of our units have a double and single bed. The other two rooms have a double bed & bunks.

All bedding and linen is supplied, so all you need to bring is your own towels, toiletries & food.

Exploring Walhalla
Hidden in a steep-sided valley, Walhalla is Gippsland's most evocative and loved historic town. Many of its original features are being faithfully restored and opened to visitors.

 

Horse Riding
If you have your own horse, why not take him on a holiday. Ride to Walhalla at your own pace or just explore this magnificent area. Secure yards available on property.

 

Copper Mine Adventure Tour
